If you have not read a David Sedaris story then you are missing one of the great comic talents of today. David Sedaris is a playwright and the author of four books. He got his start on National Public Radio and is currently a contributor to This American Life. It is hard to explain how funny Sedaris is without sounding like one of those Internet fan site. Suffice it to say that I would not waste a Saturday afternoon making a web page for just any asshole. My dad has been waiting five years for me to build a web site for his dental business.

We don't usually plug other writers on Mike's Zine. (it against our strict editorial policy.) The best place to discover Mr. Sedaris is on National Public Radio. You will need the Real Player to hear the shows.

I would suggest looking at the archives or just doing a search for David Sedaris. If you have the time you should listen to the rest of the shows. Week after week this has to be the funniest half hour of entertainment anywhere.
