Star Disputes Youth Achievement Award
Belmont, New York: LeShawn Lewis, a
sixteen-year-old student, was outraged when he was recently cited for
a Youth Achiever award from Belmont High School Officials. The popular
local rap artist described his position as "Scandalous" when
asked about the award. LeShawn who prefers his industry alias L L Notorius
spent the last two years convincing classmates that his gold chains
and designer athletic gear came from illicit drug dealing.
Leshawn appeared embarrassed when Belmont
Principal Jim McAllister announced LeShawn's national honor society
scholarship, his after school job at Wal-Mart and community service
with the elderly as reasons for the award. LeShawn's ordeal continued
as Wallis and Beverly Lewis, LeShawn's happily married parents, were
asked to come on stage with LeShawn to receive the award.
